have you ever had someone get on your bad side? and then you try and find out some more about this person to kind of allow yourself to give them the benefit of the doubt because hey for all you know they could be a really chill person that you might get along with. 

and then you actually do and find out they’re indignant, melodramatic, meretricious, or just obnoxious in some other fashion and what began as a seed of dislike blossoms into a beautiful hatred

or am i the only one who does this idk

same, i try to give people the benefit of the doubt but then i realize that they are even worse than i thought.
